We're back from another amazing year at C2E2 2017. We had a great time, but we're a bit tired after our own Monica Gonzales competed in the Crown Championship of Cosplay for the second year in a row! There will be more on that in another post, but for now, here are some pictures from the around the convention.
First of all, this year's attendance was amazing. Saturday always draws the biggest crowds, while Friday and Sunday are a bit more relaxed. Have a look at the amazing crowds from Saturday afternoon:
We saw some awesome exhibits on display, as well. Some vendors went all-out this year. Here are a few of our favorites:
C2E2 is one of the best conventions if you are looking to shop for comics and art. This year, we saw some amazing displays, including one by our favorite Chicago art house, Vertical Gallery:
We also got to see some of the special guests, We got pictures with cosplayer Ivy Doomkitty, got some autographs from artist and author Dan Jurgens, and even got to hear Stan Lee give a talk!
Though, we'll be posting a separate cosplay gallery later, we did see some of our favorite pro cosplay groups there, as well, including the 501st Legion, and Age of the Geek!
