5th Annual Playchic Fashion Show, an innovative runway show that combines fierce fashionwith top toys during ChiTAG’s Chicago Toy & Game Week hits Chicago November 18 th at NavyPier’s Grand Ballroom.
Pairing renowned haute couture designers with familiar toy and game brands to pioneer unexpected and creative designs, PlayCHIC fashions a one-of- a-kind runway of edgy, playfullooks for an unforgettable evening.
Much like “Project Runway” PlayCHIC challenges Chicago’s top fashion designers to create arunway look inspired by a playful toy or game. Borris Powell will serve as host for the evening,creating a womenswear look inspired by Twister celebrating the 50th Anniversary. Elda De LaRosa is teaming up with Twister for an evening womenswear design and Lagi Nadeau is bringing Mabel’s Labels to life for a look guaranteed to turn heads. PomPomWow and Orbeez are creating their own runway stunners and from what we hear, it’s going to be larger than life!
